Online Pharmacy Ireland
Every legitimate way to get a prescription dispensed and delivered nationwide — an independent directory, not run by any of the services listed.
How legitimate prescription delivery actually works
Buying a prescription-only medicine online as a self-service purchase is prohibited in Ireland, full stop — there are no exceptions for who's selling. Every provider below works the other way round: a valid prescription comes first, either from your own GP (emailed via Healthmail, posted, or photographed with the original to follow) or from an online doctor consultation, and a registered pharmacist reviews and dispenses it exactly as they would over the counter before it ships or is collected. That's ordinary pharmacy dispensing with a delivery option — it has always been legal, and it has nothing to do with the PSI’s Internet Supply List (see below).

How to spot an illegal online pharmacy
- Be wary of any site that lets you add a prescription-only medicine to a cart and buy it without ever supplying a prescription — that’s illegal no matter who’s selling it.
- For non-prescription medicines sold online, look for the EU common logo and check the seller against the PSI’s own Internet Supply List. A pharmacy dispensing against a prescription doesn’t need to be on this list — its absence there isn’t itself a red flag.
- A real pharmacist should always review your prescription before anything ships.
- If something looks wrong, contact the PSI directly: info@psi.ie or 01 218 4000.
